Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actor who has appeared in multiple television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the film industry. Her fan base is large both on American as well as Canadian television. Emily was first interested in acting when she watched her sister Katie performing in a film. Once she discovered her passion for the acting world Emily decided to enroll in classes to learn about it and started auditioning. She began with some commercials, but soon got cast as a child actor in the Canadian television show, Are You Fearful of the Darkness? The show had one episode where she was unable to speak. The WB program Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Emily's talents caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after just nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily was also a dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her one of the most talented actors who were under twenty. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at #51.
